Whether you are considering visiting Fountain Inn Church of God or are already a part of the fellowship, we want to welcome you and let you know that there is a place for you at FICOG. We hope to answer many of the questions you may have about the church, worship services and beliefs on this site, but please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions at all- we'd love to talk with you.

What can I expect at a worship service? Our purpose in worship services at FICOG is to bring glory to God and to study His Word. This is accomplished through the various parts of the service:

SERMON: Through a detailed study of a portion of the Bible, we seek to better understand God's character, plan and purpose. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16

MUSIC: God is praised and worshipped in traditional and contemporary music, through both instrumental and vocal music. O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD,Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1 

PRAYER: It is our privilege to bring praise, thanksgiving, confession and requests to God in times of prayer. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phillipians 4:6

OFFERING: We collect an offering to support the work of our church as well as missions work in our country and around the world. This portion of the service is intended to be a time of worship and thanksgiving where God is Glorified. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

What should I wear? You will fit in at FICOG whether you are dressed up or prefer a more casual look. You will see a wide range of styles at our services.

What is available for my children? Nursery care is provided for children. A lead worker will meet you and direct you and your child to the appropriate classroom, where you can provide any special instructions you may have. For safety reasons, your child will only be left with the person who signed them in.

Children's Church is offered during the worship service, for age-appropriate worship and Bible-focused activities. Attendance is optional- feel free to keep your children with you for the entire service if you prefer.
